The recent show at my place of work (Madingley Hall) offered a glimpse into my life as an artist over the past 40 years. Works showcased many different phases in my career in sketches, oil paintings, and ceramic sculptures.  

Influences range far and wide, and pieces vary greatly in style and scale. Consistent themes are a love of respresentational imagery, chromatic cohesion and uncluttered composition. Light, colour and the handling of the medium are key.  

(Apologies to any who planned to see the show on 26th, as I was rushed into hospital on Sunday 25th May!  There for a couple of weeks, and revived by the ICU team at Addenbrookes.  Hoping to have another show early in the New Year!)
